Yokohama hosted the 2002 World Cup Final on Sunday, 30th June.

Knockout Stage

The top 16 countries in the world continued on the road to Yokohama in the knockout stage.

Four games were staged in South Korea and four games in Japan; from June 15th to June 18th.

Quarter-finals

Quarter-final matches took place on Friday, 21st June and Saturday, 22nd June in Shizuoka, Ulsan, Gwangju and Osaka.

Semi-finals

Korea and Japan staged one semi-final game each.

The first semi-final was in Seoul on Tuesday, 25th June and the second in Saitama on Wednesday, 26th June.

Third Place Match

Daegu hosted the game for 3rd place on Saturday. 29th June.
