Japan vs Belgium

The first goal, from Marc Wilmots, sparked this game into a frenzy and the action didn't stop. Japan threw everything forward in the closing minutes that Belgium hardly had a chance to catch their breath.

Tunisia vs Belgium

More was probably expected from Belgium, after they beat France in Paris.... but maybe that was the sign that France were falling rather than Belgium were rising.

Belgium vs Russia

At one time during this match Belgium were at risk of going out... but they fought back to qualify for the Second Round, behind Japan.

Knockout Stage

Brazil vs Belgium (Second Round)

Belgium took the game to Brazil and were unlucky to have have a Marc Wilmots header disallowed in the 35th minute.
