Algeria, Cameroon, Egypt, Morocco, Nigeria, South Africa and Tunisia
had all previously represented Africa at a World Cup Finals.
Cameroon even made it to the quarter-finals, at Italy 1990; losing (2:3) to England, in Naples.
Morocco have the best Preliminary record for an African team, followed
by Nigeria and Tunisia.
